Overview
We create “Questions and Answers” selection of lessons, aiming to:
- Bring more information and clarification on Jesus’ use of parables.
- Explore and explain the figures , images and metaphors throughout Scriptures with spiritual implications.
- Prompt inquiry in our readers to investigate and reflect on their own and ask questions.
Most of the people at Jesus’ time didn’t understand the meaning of the parables He taught.
He used many different figures and metaphors to explain the spiritual application of His lessons.
They were common to their life, but caring for a deeper spiritual interpretation. For example He used the figures of the:
- Bread of life.
- Living water.
- Way and life.
- Vine and many more.
This list is not exhaustive, but rudder informative.
Furthermore, Scriptures explain Divine – human relationship by customary family parallels. For example:
- Parenthood and/or fatherhood.
- Childhood and provisions, and more.
So we raise questions and give Bible answers to inform and clarify on its teachings and the use of symbols and everyday life themes.
