Script

They were astonished and felt a convincing power as they heard His words.

Their hearts were stirred and their interest awakened.

But Satan was present to suggest doubts and unbelief.

Jesus’ home was among the poor and lowly in Nazareth.

He was a carpenter’s son with a humble life, making no claims of distinction or greatness.

But the Jews expected one with power and reputation.

They resonated that He is Joseph’s son and knew all of His family.

They would not believe that this man, who had come in meekness and lowliness, was any other than a common man.

Their unbelief and malice increased.

They cried out against him with wrath and hatred thrusting him out of the synagogue and the city.

He was brought to a tall rocky cliff. They were sure they got him.

But suddenly he disappeared out of their midst. God preserved his life.
