God will judge the world in righteousness through His Son Jesus Christ (Romans 14:10; Acts 17:31).

Scripture proclaims this first type of judgment in Revelation 14:7. And to be prepared to stand in the judgment, people are to worship and glorify God as their Creator.
When every case of the living and the dead of the professed followers is decided, Christ will come again, rewarding everyone according to once’ work. Revelation 22:12.
The judgment of the unrighteous occurs during the thousand years after His second advent. This time span is between the first (for the righteous) and the second (for the rest) resurrections. (Revelation 20:5, 7).
This judgment Jesus will do together with His redeemed saints. (Revelation 20:4).
Any end-time judgment has an eternal consequences.

Old Testament narratives of end-time judgment
The Book of Psalms
Psalm 9:7, 8
But the Lord shall endure for ever. He hath prepared His throne for judgment.
And He shall judge the world in righteousness. He shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
Psalm 37:28
For the Lord loveth judgment and forsaketh not his saints. They are preserved forever. But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
The Book of Ecclesiastes
Ecclesiastes 12:14
For God shall bring every work into judgment with every secret thing. Whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
The Book of Isaiah
Isaiah 9:7
Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom,
to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
Isaiah 16:5
And in mercy shall the throne be established. And He shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
Isaiah 51:4
Hearken unto me, my people. And give ear unto me, O my nation. For a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.

The Book of Jeremiah
Jeremiah 9:24
But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, on the earth. For in these things I delight, saith the Lord.
The Book of Daniel
Daniel 7:9-14
I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head like the pure wool. His throne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire.
A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him. Thousand thousands ministered unto Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The judgment was set, and the books were opened.
I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake. I beheld till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away. Yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought Him near before Him.
And there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom which shall not be destroyed.
Daniel 7:21, 22
I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them.
Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High. And the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
Daniel 7:25, 26
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High and think to change times and laws.
And they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
The Book of Malachi
Malachi 3:1-5
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me. And the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in.
Behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.
But who may abide the day of His coming? And who shall stand when he appeareth? For He is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap.
And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver. And He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.
Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
And I will come near to you to judgment. I will be a swift witness against:
- The sorcerers, adulterers, and against false swearers.
- Those that oppress the hireling in wages, the widow, and the fatherless.
- Those who turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.

The Book of Matthew
Matthew 10:14, 15
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Matthew 11:21, 22
Woe unto thee, Chorazin! Woe unto thee, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.
The Book of John
John 5:22, 23
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent Him.
The Book of Romans
Romans 2:3-5
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering. Not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
Romans 14:10
But why dost thou judge thy brother? Or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

The Book of 1 Peter
1 Peter 4:17, 18
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God. And if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

The Book of 2 Peter
2 Peter 2:3, 4, 9

The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.
The Book of 1 John
1 John 4:17
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment. Because as He is, so are we in this world.
The Book of Jude
Jude 1:6
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, He hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Jude 1:14, 15
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of His saints.

The Book of Revelation
Revelation 14:7
Fear God, and give glory to him. For the hour of his judgment is come. And worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
Revelation 20:4
I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them.
And I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands.
And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

More then 50+ biblical passages from both testaments narrate God’s end-time judgment. They describe their type and timing related to the second coming of His Son – Jesus Christ.
The judgment is for the hole world in righteousness. It begins with the professed believers in God.
